Irish Landmark Trust

The Irish Landmark Trust is a non-profit organisation dedicated to preserving and restoring Ireland's architectural heritage. Founded in 1992, the Trust has since rescued dozens of historic buildings, transforming them into unique holiday homes that can be rented by visitors.

The Irish Landmark Trust has an impressive collection of properties, ranging from castles and gate lodges to lighthouses and even a former schoolhouse. Each property has been carefully restored, retaining its original character and features while incorporating modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.

Irish Landmark Trust rental properties includes both of the Lightkeeper’s houses at St John’s Point Donegal, lovingly restored to their original state when lightkeepers and their families lived there full time to care for the light 24/7. Today St John’s Point is one of only a small number of lighthouses where the public can both visit the tower and stay in the original family accommodation.
